Come in, the water's fine!

School is done. Summer is coming! Real life is on its way as well...seeing as how I've just graduated from Animation and Industry Day (a very successful one at that!) is now behind us. The "Industry" feels like a huge and daunting place, although a potential ocean of opportunity, if you will...so guess I should take a dip, the water's fine!

Playing around with this cutout-like style some more. Perhaps I'll use real paper cutout (this one's all photoshop) next time...collage work is awesome!

Jazzy Old Folk

Took yet another break from film work...so I scanned in some recent sketches and spruced them up a tad. My sister sings with the Toronto AllStar Big Band, which play concerts of all the great jazz standards from the 30's 40's and 50's. The audience of these events are usually of the older generation, which make for really interesting models when I attend the concerts myself and start doodling (I also definitely enjoy the music just as much as they do!!!)
