Pink Ladies

Recently watched both Chicago and Burlesque..jazzy music, sweet costumes..this was the doodling outcome.

*Update: since i needed to do some warm-up drawing before animating, i decided to re-visit this sketch..i definitely did not push the poses enough, so here's another attempt, a WIP - also cartoonized the gals a little bit more..might even take one more stab at it later on, after all, a pose can never be pushed enough..in my opinion.

Hey there cowboy..

Illustration project for my Poetry of the Romantic Era elective class...a nice break from working on 4th year film stuff. Based on lines from Samuel Taylor Coleridge and John Clare.

On a Rainy Day

Today was finally sunny outside, but this past weekend was ridiculously grey. Depressing as it was, it suited my 4th year film idea quite well actually..and made me remember how much I used to love going outside in a rainstorm, splashing in puddles. Won't explain my entire film idea just yet, but here are some concept pieces..they're in the works.

being productive but not doing work

I decided to sculpt a character from the group film on which I am currently working.

Just for kicks really, and maybe to use as a model refrence while animating...but mostly for kicks.

His name is Bori, he paints the night sky.

Made with tin foil, masking tape, super sculpey, acrylic paint, and love.

RedGreenBlue

Wish I had more time to do art for fun instead of just posting art I did for class (not that that art isn't fun..but, ya know) here are some characters I drew from life drawing poses
