The layout I deigned for the Pan Background project we had (will add the coloured character into the scene later) still deciding on the colour scheme though..the difference is huge i know!(haha), but which do you like better? the original was done in B&W.

breakfast with the fam

Here's a layout. It's a kitchen. I was given the design of the layout and characters and asked to colour it using a graphic style (so basically, the pen tool in Photoshop). One day my kitchen will also be lime green!

Cardinal Hal

Tried a colour version... I've named him Cardinal Hal. Although he's a winter bird, he hates the cold and thus has flown down south with the other birds. He'll sit by the poolside all day long, sipping pina coladas - the kind with a pineapple wedge and a worm hanging off the side.

Some animal designs in progress...and with a bit of added colour to spruce them up a tad.

Purple Walls and a Pink Forest

Painting assignment: create an interior layout and paint with whatever medium you desire. I decided to get back into acrylic for this one(as opposed to guache)..thought it would work best to get the matt, graphic design I was going for. Colour and tonal roughs are below.


First Painting assignment: An exterior. If I'd redo it, I'd up the contrast a little.
